Could I use sheets of paper on my baking sheet to make baklava?
I have a baking dish 9×13 inches, but its metal. Im just concerned baklava could get stuck at the bottom even after the butter. Could use a little aluminum foil on the bottom, then butter and then put the dough blade? Will it succeed? Thank you very much. This is my first time so wish me luck! And I also learned that the puff pastry is difficult work with, so that should be covered wih a damp cloth?
You will not need the foil. I've never had baklava and spinach pie in my oven. bottom plate edge can be difficult to work, be patient:. Here are my suggestions If you buy frozen puff pastry, thawed overnight in the refrigerator and allow sit out at room temperature in the package of at least 30 minutes before use. Place puff pastry sheets open in a dry and clean the counter and cover with a sheet plastic and a damp tea towel. Do not put a wet cloth directly on the edge. Use a pastry brush to put melted butter on bottom and sides of Cake Pan. Lift the cover, carefully remove the pastry sheets and place on plate. Recover your battery before brushing puff pastry sheet on baking dish. Work quickly but not frantically and leave a rhythm developed. If this is the first time working with sharp enough to buy two recipes and leave in the fridge if things go wrong with the first. Let stand at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before using.
