"I can replace a glass dish covered with foil for a loaf of bread?

My regular Cake Pan is missing, and I have to make a cake as soon as possible. "I can put on my aluminum foil, glass square pan and use it to bake the cake in place? If so, do I have to make adjustments to temperature / cooking time? Well, it's a casserole dish … Pyrex so obviously because it is made to enter the oven. My idea was that the foil could make the dish more like a regular cake pan metal. Is my reasoning faulty? Has anyone tried it? Thank you all!

Simply lower the heat 25 degrees. Despite that, you can bake in a shorter time. Otherwise it is fine to use as is. I think the glass is still conduct heat the same way, but it was a very smart idea. You're thinking! =)
