Why is my casserole evaporate in the oven?
Last night I made a dish, it was a good cooker and I put parchment paper under the lid, but every few hours when I check on him, it was evaporated by half and I have to keep head with water! Regardless of the cooking temperature you are you will lose moisture. The higher the temperature the more rapid loss humidity. I agree with Gibson, you must turn down temporary basis (160 C is optimal). This will allow your pot to simmer.
