Help with layers of mini cake baking time?
I bought a set of two mini layer Cake Pans with the dimensions: 2 small pans (2-1/4 "diameter 1-7/8. X") 2 Middle trays (3-1/4 "dia. X 1-7/8") 2 large pots (4-1/4 " diameter. X 1-7/8 ") I have no idea how long to cook! Please help soon, I'm using a standard yellow cake mix from a box: normal 13" X 9 "cake baking time is 32-35 minutes.
The oven temperature should not change. I never follow the recipes often, but a lot of time if you use a small pot shouldn't take much longer than the cupcakes. You can always use the touch test where if you play it back after the fact or if a toothpick or knife inserted in center comes out clean its done well. I would check the cake after 5 minutes or so and then check every few minutes until done. good luck
