How many boxes of cakes for a Wilton Cake Pan?
I bought a cake pan shaped stars and directions say to use a layer cake mix 2. Does this mean use 2 boxes of cake mix? I never made a cake before … Thank you to person who actually answered the question. Regarding the rude person, I am old enough to have a child, you moron. I've just never made a cake.
A mixture of normal size cake is a cake with 2 layers. However, when you make a cake decorating I would use 1 1 / 2 boxes of mix, because you curb rising out of the cake before decorating. Using a mix-up, you'll always a good thick cake. ** If the recipe calls for 3 eggs mixture, use 5 eggs. By adding an extra egg to the mixture, it will keep your cake to collapse. ** Before you put the pan in the oven out, I recommend turning the pan so that the edges of the cake are more higher than the center. In this way, the cake rises, there will not be a big bump in the center which will be cut to decorate a surface. ** If you drop the pan on the counter a few times before baking, all the air bubbles come to the top of the mixture. This will eliminate the tunnels of the air in your cake. ** Bake the cake at 325 degrees instead of 350 degrees. The cake will be slightly longer to cook, however, it will not rise as much and there is less cutting. I have been baking and selling cakes and decorated cakes marriage for years. Happy cooking ……. try not to stress …… cake is really not hard.
