What is the advantage Calphalon?
People say that Calphalon is the best type of cookware available. While it is quite expensive to give this impression, I may invest in "real" cookware soon, so I'm collecting opinions on different brands. – Do you, or you have never used the regular Calphalon, anodized type? Which is higher than this, or what is bad about it? Why was there such a reputation, and is it deserved?
Porcelain-covered rocks melt! I have been investing in this type of cookware for several years and now it's pretty much what I use. I have some stainless pans from Pampered Chef that I use too but I never felt compelled to blow so much money on the Calphalon. Try just a piece of porcelain covered cast iron, I think you'll be sale on it in a hurry! For a first piece that I recommend a slow cooker, that's probably what I use most.
