carico cookware?
Carico Cookware Bridgette Billings MT (02/14/06) My boyfriend and I went to a wedding fair and went for a holiday. We got a call saying he had won a three-day storage at the destination of our choice, but were forced to attend a post selected by a company called girlfriends, in order to claim our prize. A skillful salesman convinced us to buy a cookware that cost about $ 1500.00. Said the company would be our credit to see if we have been able to obtain home financing. He later received a call from them saying they did not qualify and therefore do not receive our shipment until at least half of the balance is paid, but that it had signed a contract and were obligated to pay the full amount or would be delivered to a collection agency. To date, I paid $ 505.00. My boyfriend and I are not together, and so will not be a wedding. I called and explained the situation to the company and I said no refunds, only store credit for your website online. I tried to make online purchases, although their prices are not and website is not well maintained and presented. In fact, most items on sale do not have information about them and no images available. They even sell games pans consist of a pan and 5 diffent types of pan covers several companies that are not included in the set, although the image of the whole sample the dishes and if they were included (read the fine print). I had to call the company to obtain a code for me to see what prices the items were. It was so hard I almost paid my balance to get the pans. After all, the staff of customer service for brides and selected carico will tell you that they or their own supervisors warrentied the product life, and love. After reading so many negative reports, no other thing I want my money back. Now it seems I'm forced to take home over $ 500.00 worth of garbage Carico. To make matters worse, the purchase was in my name boyfrinds, and apparently now I am also responsible for the debt. In fact his name does not even appear on the invoice. I do not remember signing any document in the presentation. Apo Andrea (08/28/05) Six years ago I was drawn Carico the demonstration kitchen. My boyfriend and I bought in the demo and bought $ 1,500.00 worth of kitchen utensils and products are horrible. I had to pull oven tray and everything sticks to the pot and the food just is destroyed. I have fear of using any of the other parts and still in its box. Shamika of Killeen TX (05/03/1905) I also bought the same Carico Cookware Clarksville, TN. My husband and I were enticed with free vacation that won. Too our surprise all who put his name in the box won this vacation free calls. I really think it was so evil and false advertising that this is total and complete. Our cookware is more than $ 1,800 and no better than the ordinary shopping at Wal-Mart. Of course I love Wal-Mart products. Carico cookware just does not work! The consequence is too full payment for cookware that does not meet their demands. We are still paying in the kitchen as of today and that was acquired in February 2004. Kyle of Plantation FL (03/02/2005) My boyfriend and I were sucked into a free trip and other prizes free to come and attend the presentation. After being sitting there, we decided to buy the product. The sales guy said everyone is approved to give your money in good faith and would receive their cookware. I signed papers and after the signing, said that if approved would put me in a deferred payment plan. I had already signed and I said, if I'm not allowed I'll just pay all Cooking Utensils. We are able to pay for something if necessary. The problem comes when after weeks of not knowing about anything Carico, and expect the delivery service to appear any day now, I try to contact carico on the status of my application. I called the first day, but was held for half hour. I hung up because I would be paying for cell phone minutes over the kitchen, so I went to their website for information on order. I filled out the online form and a representative was supposed to call me back shortly. I do not know how much time is short, because three days passed. After I went to another area of the website and e-mail sent to support@carico.com to see if anyone would respond there. Nothing. Therefore, my last choice was clear only my schedule and be ready to celebrate. I called and finally someone answered after an hour. I told them I was an hour and they responded by saying that you have a account with us? as what I just said was inaudible to the human ear. No apology, no sorry, no nothing. I told him I paid about three hundred dollars makes few weeks and received nothing. Cooking utensils, letter, invoice, nothing. Then I moved to credit, where a lady told me it was rejected. I asked to give my money back and said fine and hung up. Now I wonder what can be said that she gives me my money? She did not ask for my address, which did not confirm my name, nothing. The company carico seems fully stocked with unprofessional sellers and agents. Who knows if I'll get my money back. Who knows if I was still the person they had seen on the computer. I have asked for anything in the treatment of my refund. Only you can and hung while I'm still trying to talk with them. Buy Carico if you dare. Is better they have their $ 2000 cash on you and take him in hand and hope you never have to talk to them again. Allan of Los Angeles, CA (02/04/2005) My finace received a phone call shortly after attending a wedding exhibition. Carico was a representative saying that she had won a free honeymoon! She arrived home excited and bubbly, but I immediately smelled a scam. The capture of free honeymoon, is that you must attend a 2 hour seminar on Carico products. I agreed to go as a kind of social experiment, but had told my boyfriend does not really expect a vacation out of it. So come to the seminar in which only a young couple attending to others and listen to 2 hours. Part of it was informative (as the science behind the creation of different Pots And Pans), and some they frankly was an insult (like the sales rep giving us a family history artificial about his father was a sales representative for 30 years and Carico met his mother, while selling Carico cookware. Of course, 30 years later, his mother is still using the same cookware * tail sales pitch *) Your products looked all well and good, in fact I would consider buying them if not for delivering strong sales and sheisty they gave us. Basically Carico is making to attract young, innocent couple with the promise of a free honeymoon, then (with) to convince to spend $ 2000 in cookware so what sound becomes cheap (only $ 25 a week!) When I told the sales rep that I wanted in cookware, but I prefer to put it on my wedding registry for family members to buy, I said the only way is to reach an agreement for a loan at this time, and set a record with the family to pay that loan. He said it was not possible because the debt would not fall on us if all of the secretariat was not covered, so I asked politely if there was a way to order your products at a later date. The answer, of course, was NO. Continued to refuse my genuine attempts to buy their products because I was trying to buy it through alternative means rather than immediately put me in debt for $ 2000. You have to buy all or because you can not buy at all. If this is not a scam, I do not know what it is. We did get our coupon for "free" vacation, but it will take a little more research to find ways that you are legit …. I would like to warn future newlyweds attend a seminar Carico take this into account before letting you put them in debt. She Forestville MD (10/26/04) I wanted to support cooking utensils. I wanted to cancel the order and never returned my phone calls. Carico cookware sent without my knowledge and I want to return the pans. I like the way they do business and do not want anything to do with the organiztion. I'll try to talk to somebody, because I want to return these elements as soon as possible. Brian of North Kingstown, Rhode Island (08/26/04) My wife and I had attended a carico show in Providence RI, attracted by a free holiday. After completion of the series we sat down with the representative and fill out the paperwork to buy $ 1800 worth of cookware in the credit. The representative said that almost everyone agreed and assured me that without a bankruptcy financing would not be a problem. We pay to send cash in the event:. A week later we received a monthly statement which reads Thanks for the establishment of effective an extended plan with our company. You will receive statements monthly bills like this to facilitate making payments. ONCE PAID YOUR BALANCE TOTAL HAvBED automatically receive your merchandise. I see no reason to make payments for years waiting to receive cooking utensils years from now. (Minimum monthly payment was $ 25) The statement also says that the payments it received timely credit adversely impacted. Carico called to say that I was not interested in a cash plan extension. That as I had never received any product they do not care. They claimed he owed them $ 1300 and if you do not pay will receive a sentence. The company admits that they have sent no product; nevertheless submits that the debt owed if they had. I insulted his representative during the call saying that if I could have been a gentleman and called ahead, which could have been a gentleman and paid my bills. He claimed he could not cancel the order, he would pay the debt no matter what, and that just ruined my credit, but people like you probably do not care. He also told me not to be so high and mighty, and it was due to my credit card had been put into this plan. Does this company are entitled to this money, get a failure, and / or reporting to credit agencies, even though they have never received nor a product of them? Franyo of Clinton MD (01/07/04) My husband and I bought some Carico cookware just before we got married. It was very expensive, and promised to last forever and still stick. These products are horrible. Everything sticks to it and after just over a year is starting to crumble. We could have gone to Wal-Mart and buy a much cheaper than what it says. We are very dissatisfied! Sarah Elizabethton TN (02/17/03) A representative of Carico came to my school in May 2002. Lunch offered all students who attended the presentation and promised to send $ 5 per person. I was sold on the goods whe chef told us that if we buy utensils kitchen would get a day off with 4 3 night for the election of a few places. The package includes meals, drinks and entertainment, such as free rent diving equipment, etc. She said we would receive a package that will then select the location in about six weeks. Needless to say I or anyone who bought the cookware packages received nothing. When i called Carico were very rude and told me no problem I would have to take it with my agent who sold me cookware was an independent sales representative. Our class never received the $ 5 that was promised to us either. Juie Portland OR (02/04/2003) My daughter and I attended a product presentation Carico after a Bridal Show in Portland, Oregon. The presentation was entertaining, professional and convincing. After a brief discussion my daughter and I decided to order the starter Cookware Set. I was asked to initial a box label on the bottom of the contract being stated I understood that all sales shall be final. After more research on what was purchased, we realized that he had spent more of our budget will allow. In the search in the contract, we realized we had three days to cancel the transaction. The form also indicates that these forms are attached to the contract – they were. We did not go the hotel the following day to request these forms of termination. The boy first told us that he could not get to us, because the seller had in his briefcase and took care to give a presentation. The second young man reminded us that it had signed a statement that the sale was final. I noted that reality says that all the defendants * * sales are final and that the contract also says it has 3 days to cancel. He said it was a contract in the household who are using and forms are not available. I returned later with my husband. We were told that the forms do not exist. It was a house in the demonstration and contract call the 800 number for help. We told him that we were aware that these contracts can not be canceled by phone. He insisted that if we simply called Michael Vincent at 800 all be seen. I did not get to anyone at 800 and my message was not returned. My husband investigation confirmed that the company is in violation of Rule FTC cooling off. (See FTC 16 CFR 429). The company, from our perspective, is a violation of the following areas: 1. Failure to provide cancellation forms attached to alter the final sentance of Communication for the buyer to inform you where to find cancellation forms. 2. He did not verbally inform buyer the right to cancel within 3 days. 3. Attempt to persuade buyers verbally and in writing (Rubber stamp initialed) the right to cancel has been waived. 4. The refusal to provide the buyer with the cancellation request forms and client that leads you to believe call the 800 number to resolve this problem. We stopped paying our visit and sent a certified letter of cancellation to the company three days before our expiration. Has also registered a complaint with the Office of Business Practices in Florida. Fortunately, our loss has been minimal $ 20 to suspend payment of the account and $ 2.30 to send a certified letter. The real damage is in a company skirting the law to end their sales and customer by handling believe that they have no recourse. Shamika of Killeen TX (03/05/2005): I also bought the same Carico Cookware Clarksville TN. My husband and I were enticed with a "vacation Free'd won. "To our surprise all who put their name in the box won this so-called free vacation. I really think it was so evil and this is total and complete false advertising. Our cookware is more than $ 1,800 and no better than normal kitchen utensils that buying Wal-Mart. The result is the payment entirely too much for cookware that does not meet their demands. We are still paying in the kitchen as of today and that was acquired in February 2004. Heather Clarksville TN (10/11/2004) My husband and I went to an independent manifestation of cookware made by Carico International. The local dealer advertising "dinner and show "at home, not what we expected and couples were only allowed to attend. The vessel was supposed to be a healthier way of cooking to preserve the nutrients of the food prepared. Cookware try following the instructions, and continued to ruin the food. Food sticks to the pots, and Steel gets so hot that it can not be touched, even with oven mitts. I contacted the company to see him again and was told he could not, no return cookware, as it has been used in 2000. I'm paying over $ cookware is a trick and is useless. The container overheats and causes extreme burns to the skin. Even cooked at low temperatures, the cookware is too hot to touch. Brian of North Kingstown RI (8/26/04): My wife and I attended a presentation of Carico cookware in Providence, attracted by a free holiday. After the show we sat down with the representative and fill out paperwork to buy $ 1800 worth of cookware in the credit. The representative said that almost everyone agreed and assured me that without a bankruptcy financing would not problems. Shipping paid in cash at the fair. A week later we received a statement indicating that it would receive the goods until the balance is paid in full. I see no reason to make payments without an end with the hope of cookware years from now. The statement also says that payments are not received on time have adverse credit. Carico called to say that I was not interested in a box extension plan, however he said he owed $ 1.300 and threatened with a lawsuit if they did not pay. The company admits that no product has been shipped but claim that I owe the debt regardless. Your representative insulted me through of the call, I said that "gentlemen pay their bills." Said he could not cancel the order, which I would have to pay the debt no matter what, and ruin my credit if not to proceed with payments. He also told me not to be as "big and powerful" as it was due to my credit card had been put into this plan:. Clinton Franyo MD (07/01/2004) My husband and I bought some Carico cookware just before we got married. It was very expensive, and was promised to last and always remain "non-stick." These products are horrible. Everything sticks to it and after just over a year is starting to crumble. Could have gone to Wal-Mart and bought a cheaper and more effective products. http://www.shoptitanium.com/ http://www.onlycookware.com/carico-cookware.php http://search.stores.ebay.com/carico- cookware_W0QQfnuZ1QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQsbrexpZWD1SQQsifZ1QQsofpZ4QQssPageNameZWD1S
