Cast Iron Cookware on a ceramic cooktop – yes or no?
I heard it's a no-no because it's too hot (too hot for ceramic ???), and its weight could break the ceramic. Anyone have any experience or recommendations on this?
Or is it all about being careful. Some say generally cookwares melt textured background, so it could scratch the surface. And some say it is too heavy and you might break the cooktop. Too hot for ceramic? This must be a joke, since the cooking is super hot already – It is made to take the heat arrives. But if you handle reasonably well, nothing will.
