how to clean the inside of copper cookware?
I know you can use a variety of things to polish the OUTside from lemons and salt to Brasso, but my concern is cleaning the INside of these Pots And Pans. Its not copper, its something silver-colored, and its incredibly tarnished black from non-use for X amount of years! Its almost like its stained black or something.
any ideas?
This is a new one for me. I would try something tomato based (even if it’s a bottle of cheap catsup). I’d try it in a small amount, maybe covering about an inch) and let it sit just for a “test“. If that doesn’t work mix a bit of water, so it doesn’t burn, and boil it for 15 minutes or so… let it cool, and see what happens. I’d be real curious to know what results you get DO work…
