Has anybody heard that Cast Iron Cookware is a "Nono" in ceramics and glass top stoves ?…?
… I I think it is the possibility of scratching the pans get too hot for that kind of stoves and eventually can ruin the burners by 'burning out ". Do you agree with this? That had read a while back that cast iron can not be used, but now I can not seem to find it. My fiance loves cast iron so I need to know if you can use that. Do not use the hard anodized or Teflon types. Can I use glass containers in this type of stove? Plates can Reversible be used in this type of stove? Such as the Lodge. Thanks for replying
If you get an enameled cast iron like Le Creuset, which will work very well.
