A simple explanation would be for the same reason (s) that we are all different. . . some people are: 1. More sensitive to light 2. Colorblind 4. Allergic to peanuts 5. More easliy ground 6. More likely to break a bone 7. More taller, shorter, weaker, stronger, etc. frequency sound waves produced apparently pierce through a person's brain, while above the ability of another person, even to hear. . . like a dog whistle can not hear. Certain sounds affect the ear and are perceived by some as pain, and not others. Plain and simple fun!
