How to remove the coating of Copper Pots and pans inferior?
My bridal party bought me a beautiful set of Pots And Pans that I presented in a gift basket. However, the gift basket does not include any of the documents included in the box of kitchen utensils. So … I have a couple of questions. 1. My girlfriend use one of the boats before they realized that you need to remove a layer of copper. However, there are some points ugly kind of rainbow in the steel pans. Can be eliminated? 2. After realizing their error and reading the warning label on the other pieces, I discovered that they need to enjoy baking soda warm water for 20 minutes. My question is: Is it only needs to absorb copper pot or whole? Also some other helpful tips are welcome!
Copper is often coated with lacquer or something to protect it until it gets to you. Is the same as soak the entire pot if it is over. To clean the steel piece where it has been cooked in the art, if not to dive, try nail polish remover. If that fails, I scrub the heck out of it with a green scrubbie or some steel wool very well, but then I'm not picky about my pots to be bright enough to see me in. If so, try something like very fine bronze wool or Barkeeper Friend. If you want to stay bright copper, get some copper polish and use it regularly. Cook rapidly to obscure what is not a problem for the function but does not look nice if you hang the pots where they are visible
