Anyone know much about Aluminum Cookware Eco satin finish?
I'm looking to buy this pan for a technical. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail/params.item.K21629.desc.Technique-Cast-Aluminum-12-Square-Grill-Pan Is made of cast aluminum and has a green satin finish. There are two things I'm trying to avoid. One is coating of PTFE and PFOA do not want nonstick aluminum to seep into my food. Can you please tell me if this pan meets both requirements? Thanks!

Now, if you were to practice the old school way of cooking and baking, should not fear this. old school methods will use cast iron, glass and enamel-coated utensils kitchen. It is true that iron may leach into foods cooked in it, but our bodies easily accept and use the iron ore and benefit it. glass and glass Enamel Coated Cookware does not filter anything in the food. Do not cook at temperatures that this type of cookware to leach the impurities food. That would have to be at about 700 º F to 800 º F for 30 to 45 minutes, then the food will burn a crunchy piece.
