I think I ruined my whole Emeril cast iron …. Could use some help in this case.?
So I married and spent consumption Emeril cast iron in the dishwasher. In any case, I had no idea of not washing your cast iron. He had not even heard of it before. All this nonsense Seasoning is new to me. Well, I take him out of the washer and out of containers (not inside) are mixtures of color everywhere. They are all now calcareous vs the beautiful black who were out of the box. My wife and I were astonished that this happened. Why would anyone even buy Cooking Utensils can not be washed in the dishwasher? It makes no sense. Well my cookware is in ruins now? Anyway to re-use and if so I can get the nice black color come back or not? We are thinking on just getting another group, although this cost by 200 dollars. Ridiculous -. A quick update that we received this cookware as a gift … I did not know they do not run.
