What kind of pans are best for cooking?
I think to get a whole new pan. I'm researching different brands and different Types Of Cookware. It will be a big investment that I intend to keep these pots for the rest of my life (I hope). I'm trying to decide between the iron, copper, or stainless steel. The brands I have narrowed down are: Copper: http://www.mauviel.com/ Stainless steel: http://www.all-clad.com/ Fonte: http://www.lecreuset.com/usa/home. Any opinions php? What pans do you cook? Time now we have an electric stove with a ceramic glass top. I prefer a gas range, if and if ever I redo my kitchen, I will have a gas stove -. Oh, and I do all types of cooking, soups and stews, stir fry, steaks and hot sauce, deglaze, and just about everything.
You should have a good collection of stainless steel with a heavy base and cast iron. Have a 18/10 stainless steel with a INCERT aluminum base that will allow heavy skillet to heat evenly and retain heat. cast iron for certain dishes are great, but not all. I a set of Saucepans HSN Wolfgang Puck's for about 6 years and they look the same as the day I bought them. I used them for just about any kind of dish with great results. They have special rates this time of year with its products. You can spend 6 or 7 percent or more on some that are great too, but if you're on a budget you can not go wrong with these too. You should have a melt 12 large "or larger and a smaller pot for personal stuff too. As corn bread, etc.
