kitchenaid hard anodized Cookware

stainless steel vs. anodized hard?
I'm about to buy my first cookware, and I do not know what to do. if please help me! these are my toughts: stainless steel = i found a nice cookware and is half the price of hard anodizing, I have read some reviews on the internet (I could not find many because I guess it is a lesser marks Solingen Germany) and they just say be careful because the handles can become hot. Hard Anodized = it is almost twice as expensive, KitchenAid, silicone handles, no holes cover to steam. I read sometimes change the flavors of the cuisine, is this true? I want to Buy Cookware that will last many years, honestly I will not be cooking everyday, just a few days a week, as the weekend maybe, I'll be cooking for 2, I want to use as little oil as possible, I do not have a dishwasher. In that spirit, please advise me!
Well, Lil, after decades of cooking and tent Many different kitchen utensils, I came here for the stainless steel dishes. Here's why. All kitchen utensils with non-stick surfaces depleted and lose much of their anti-adhesive. They must then be replaced. They also pick up odors and flavors and can affect the flavor of cooked food. So they are more expensive to begin with, and are also more expensive, by far, in the long term due to the replacement function. It is very well for manufacturers of cookware, but not for cooking. A high quality stainless steel set will last a lifetime. You'll only have to buy it once. What you want is a polished surface is very smooth with rivets and an insert made of aluminum or copper base. Heavier is better than lighter. And flat bottom are better than rounded for cooking on the ceramic cooktop. I have an eclectic mix of expensive and cheap steel. To pots to be used for steaming vegetables, soups, oatmeal, stews, rice, you do not need to spend lot of money. A Stainless Steel Pot cheap Walmart is as good as more expensive for these uses. But the pans in which you cooking omelets, fried chicken, chops, etc., you should invest in the best you can afford with heavy gauge steel and brass inserts so you can find them. And for roasting in the oven, why you can easily get by with one of those cheap porcelain covered roasting poultry. You'll also need a pot for cooking spaghetti and larger amounts of chili, soup, etc., and a crock pot for slow cooking meats and stews. So here's my advice. Buy a pair of very expensive Stainless Steel Pots on the stove, one inch eight and ten inches, with glass lids. Then go buy some pots Walmart expensive stainless with aluminum clad bottom, and a little more, also with glass lids. While at Walmart to buy a cheap medium roaster Business porcelain turkey and pot cheap enameled with a sieve. Add a cheap crock with a removable / washable insert … and you have a good time life functioning kitchen for about $ 250 or less. A word of warning. When cooking with stainless you should use lower temperatures and slower cooking. You must buy "bartenders friend" or other non-abrasive cleaner to keep them very polished inside. You need to use cooking spray or oil with them, but not much if you keep on low heat. Use wooden utensils or silicone with them to keep them as free scratches as possible. Scratches cause sticking. Bon appetite!
