Why my hob turn my brown paper towel, when I grease it?
While cookies, my wife was greasing a baking aluminum cookie (she had just washed) and I noticed something silver / gray was dry on the paper towel. Is this unhealthy (I assume yes)? Should we throw this sheet away (I assume yes)?
yeah, you pull the foil on paper towels. I use aluminum containers at work because they are tough and durable, but I never put food directly on the surface. I use parchment always like a metal contact surface non-stick/no. Keep in mind that non-stick Teflon is not much better because the coating will eventually seep into the food too. If you cook a lot or use the stove a lot you should invest in paper placemats parchment or Silpat. If you do not know about these products simply google the words.
