GUYS: When you get married …?
Whether you are married or are planning to get married …. did / do you assume that your wife will do all the cooking and cleaning home / etc …? I noticed how clean commericials almost always women who do the cleaning. and never the man. same for ads cookware. I do not want to sound like a feminist neo-Nazi. but as society is that women are the kitchen / cleaning products, is that what you (guys) take when you enter a relationship? or are you willing to work the 50/50 split? I have curiosity. Well I'm a gir, and God knows I can not cook or keep a clean house! lol … and I'm not looking to marry soon, but im curious. Because when they get married, I do not want my husband expects me to clean and cook when I can not!
I think it's pretty stupid show only women, but hey, who cares? When I married fairly evenly split. I just tend to think we as women are more picky about a clean, decent smelling men are so that's why we are seen more frequently in advertisements. I am not particularly offended but I still think it's a bit silly. EDIT Everyone can cook and clean. When I was younger I was not too good with both. As I've gotten older (now 28) and now have a place of my own, I have become very good at keeping my house clean and organized. It seems strange, but it requires practice and discipline to do so. I do not expect find someone you can just so you can avoid it. I have to be able to learn to handle yourself. It is not difficult once you get the hang of it.
