How do you know cookware stainless austenitic steel?
I have some copper bottom pans are not magnetic and want to know if aluminum or austenitic stainless steel (steel only is non-magnetic). Is there an easy way to tell?
Look for a seal in the back of that looks like a fraction of 18/10 or 18/15 Usually this number indicates the quality of stainless steel kitchen. The first number is the percentage chromium and the second number is the percentage of nickel. The higher level of nickel better kitchen utensils, and less likely to corrode.
