Corningware is the same or different than the tiles?

Corningware is specially designed to withstand temperature changes. So you can use to make a casserole out of the fridge and put it right in the oven without breaking the plate. Sandstone is very porous under the enamel and is not made to withstand the temperature changes. Only must go to the oven temperature. Otherwise, may crack or break. Both evenly bake and brown well. But to freeze or microwave, use the Corningware.
